BirthBridges Fund

Part of our mission as birth workers is to help provide doula services to all. Currently, many insurances do not cover doula services even though studies have shown that doulas decrease use of pain medication, use of epidurals, rates of cesarean births, and length of labor, while increasing birth satisfaction for parents. This means that only those who have the financial resources to afford doula fees can access doula support.

We are looking forward to a time where doula services are affordable to all, but until then we will continue to do our part to help bridge the gap.
